Visiting this website

The web server and Cloudflare process connection and request information, such as an IP address, browser information, requested address and request time, to deliver and protect the site and investigate problems. Operational records are not published.

Comments and account cookies

If you leave a comment, WordPress processes the name, email address and comment you provide, along with technical information used for moderation and spam prevention. Your email address is not displayed with the comment. Comments may be checked through Akismet, Automattic’s anti-spam service. An avatar may be supplied by Gravatar. Comments remain in the site’s records until removed. WordPress may offer to remember your comment details in cookies; administrator sign-in also uses cookies.

Analytics, advertising and your choices

This site uses Google Analytics for usage measurement and may show advertising through Google AdSense. When advertising is enabled, Google and other advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to measure or serve ads, including ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. Consent choices are managed through Google’s consent message where it is displayed. You can choose whether to consent and manage the available options. You can also control cookies through your browser and manage Google ad personalization in Google’s ad settings. See how Google uses information from partner sites.

Images, links and other sites

Some articles display third-party images, including YouTube thumbnails, or link to external services. Loading an external resource can share connection information with its provider. Following a link takes you to a separate service with its own policies.
